Future tenses are often used for predictions or planning ahead.

Simple future

The simple future is an action/event in the future.

I will meet you tomorrow.

Future progressive

The future progressive is used for continuing action that will occur in the future.

This time next week I will be sitting on a plane.

Future perfect

The future perfect is used for an action that will be completed by a specified time in the future.

I will have written three chapters by the end of the month.

Future perfect progressive

The future perfect progressive is used for continuing action that will be completed at a specified time in the future.

I will have been walking for days by the time I reach my destination.
